  • So yesterday I was my first time with you guys. THANK YOU SO MUCH. You got my Jeep tower from the side of the freeway, in your shop, diagnosed, and fixed immediately. You were so quick. And you turned a bad day right around. And even when the bad day kept up, and I had a crazy incident with getting a ride and getting by the store to get money, and I was almost 30 minutes late! One of your very awesome staff stayed late until they could run my card, and I could get the Jeep. Because of y’all I was able to get my two little girls to their Christmas party and pick up gifts to put under our Christmas tree— which is very special for a single mom. And we even got Christmas pictures with Santa! Thank you for not just keeping me mobile, but helping me make a merry Christmas for two little princesses!

  • David told me to come over, Blake saved the day. My old truck had an issue with both license plate bulbs and one reverse light. I had no tools in my truck to do this plus my body will not allow me to easily climb under vehicles as Ankylosing Spondylitis sets in....body fuses joints starting with hips and spine. I told Blake what I needed done and he took care of all 3 quickly, friendly and professionally. My 2000 Dodge Ram apparently had one license plate bulb burn into the plastic socket flange. Blake super glued both into place for me since I didn't have time. .traveling....to get the parts. I took a few pics to show you. The plastic bracket, flanges were disintegrating as they were handled. I really appreciate his effort and good work. I knew all was fine as I traveled through Houston, cop on my tail, and I wasn't ticketed for license plate lights malfunctioning. Blake did a great job and I appreciate David allowing me to pull in at 4:15 pm or so for these crucial to me fixes. Thanks guys! I would very gladly deal with them again. PS weeks later, the one on the right failed. Go figure. lol Am ordering those parts now. googled it and just need acetone on cotton ball to remove it. But wait! What about my nails? hehehe ;)

  • So happy with the service I received. I dropped off my car at 9:30 and was able pick it up by 11 am. I was most impressed by the customer service and honesty. I was prepared for them to tell me I needed several repairs done that would cost me an arm and a leg. They were honest and only told me I needed brakes on two tires. Honesty and great affordable pricing will keep me going back for any further needs. I highly recommend Paul D's.

  • I came in to get my spark plugs replaced a while back and was quoted $500, Not bad for an old school Cadillac. Left for a while then got called back quick, I was told it WASN'T GOING TO BE AS MUCH AS QUOTED whaaaaat???? $350. I love this place. They got a customer for life.

  • The work seems to be good. My truck was fixed and seems to run strong. However, my truck took 4 days longer than expected to fix (including the weekend) and I received two different stories as to why it took so long. Either the communication was bad or one of the stories was used as a cover up to make it look like it wasn't the shop's fault. Also, I asked multiple times if they could check with the paint and body shop to see if they could correct my front bumper. I never heard back on this. Obviously, the work they do seems to be good based on the reviews but my experience was not the best. I spent a lot of money here and it's a bummer that I didn't leave feeling respected as a customer. Update: I changed my review from 2 stars to 4. My check engine light turned on and my truck faced similar problems that it had when I originally took took it to get fixed. Paul kindly checked it out and solved the issue without charge. While I'm still disappointed about my first visit, I was very happy when I left the second time.

  • Paul, his staff, and his son are all very good to work with in regard to very professional as well as timely repairs to ANY auto or truck. They cam to us on a personal referral from a long time customer that supports numerous vehicles for a mid sized company with excellent results. We did NOT mention this "connection" when we had a major problem with our work car 12 26 2013 and he along with his professional really resp. promptly to an odd problem, they got us to work on time and got to work on the problem. They were able to "take the total " approach to the problem, Fix IT , and stay after it with follow up AND "Second effort!" when another issue came to light! #Everyone seems to know how vital working folks "RIDE" is and take the best ACTION at a very fair price. I am able to save $1000s of dollars by purchasing high mileage top line cars with the 'professional" support of Paul Hooks Automotive! For those that take this "re use" policy towards "mature" LOL autos a truely "GOOD and Honest" old style shop like Paul Hooks is THE WAY TO GO!
